Lewis Cass Youth League ● Home ●
The Lewis Cass Youth League (LCYL) is a community-based youth sports organization primarily serving the Walton and Galveston areas in Cass County, Indiana. It focuses on providing recreational and developmental opportunities in baseball and softball for children, emphasizing fun, skill-building, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The league operates seasonally, with spring registrations typically opening in February or March.
Our Mission
To implant firmly in the children of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority, so that they may be well adjusted, stronger and happier boys and girls and will grow to decent, healthy and trustworthy men and women. To achieve this objective, the LCYL will provide a supervised program of baseball and softball games regulated by the rules and policies of the Town & Country Baseball/Softball. Managers, coaches, parents and board members shall bear in mind that stressing exceptional athletic skills or the winning of games is secondary to that of good sportsmanship and that the type of quality of leadership extended to the boys and girls is of prime importance.
